| | Once again I waited until noon to go running. Didn't eat breakfast. It's a nice warm day out with a beautiful gentle breeze. I felt pretty good today and was running faster than normal. I was on the east side of the Floodway and thought I saw a work truck over by the canal. I got to University and saw a Flood Control truck underneath the bridge. I ran to the other side of the Floodway and saw the canal gate open. I figured it must've been Flood Control that opened it and by this time I had forgotten about the other truck I saw. Then I saw it parked under a tree and realized it was Ronnie who had opened the gate. I stopped and talked to him. We literally talked about nothing for half an hour. Anyway, I finally broke away and finished my run. A little slower than what I started, but still faster than normal.

| | My legs didn't feel fresh at first, but I was running faster than yesterday. Feeling better. I saw a flock of six or seven rosey faced lovebirds. Or peach-faced lovebirds. At least that's what the internet said. I took a couple of pictures, but they didn't turn out that good.

These guys have been sitting on my shelf for a few weeks waiting for me to call their number. Today they got their chance.

| | What a difference an extra mile makes. I chuckled to myself when I remembered that I used to tell people that anything less than three miles was a waste of my time :)

| | I haven't been doing my breathing treatments on a regular basis like I should be and it showed today. Ran a 10 min. pace and it felt labored.
