Perfect my diet to run better, stonger and faster!
Long-Term Running Goals:
Run 3:15 marathon.
Personal:
I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.
Jackie tried running today. She made it only a few miles and had to stop. She got me through the darkest part of the morning. That was nice. It is scary running in the dark and my husband REALLY doesn't like me to do it.
Uneventful miles. My body is tired. I think I am looking forward to taper.
Blessing: God... it is so nice to know that we didn't come from nothing and there is someone always on our side. He truly wants to see us acheive great things.
Workout was supposed to be 2x5 at MP drop to HMP. Only did one of the 5's. Ana had to use the bathroom which she never has to do and we weren't even running close together so decided to only do one. Feeling a little guilty I didn't finish the other. I felt really great for the one I did so I feel like the 2nd one would have felt good too. Oh well!
Felt really great. Ran with Ana, Ed, Paula, and Jen.
Our water at mile 15 had been stolen. Then we ran up a hill that is almost 2 mi long. I was ok but others were not. Had to finish the run alone and come back to pick up others.
