I have 4 kids, 2 boys and 2 girls. 11, 9, 6 and 2. I have been married to my guy for 13 years. He is great and so supportive of my running life. He is also very active, mostly weight training and he has run 2 half marathons as well. He is very fast without training too hard. 1:28 Half Marathon!!! I am working on being able to keep up with him. Someday when are kids are older we look forward to training together.

My husband had to leave for work at 6:15 so my AWESOME running partners got up at 4:30 to run with me!!!

It was nice to be out with no one on the road and have it be a tiny bit cooler

Splits 7:47, 7:41, 7:42, 7:44, 7:49, 7:48, 7:44

Felt good, pace didn't feel hard and I didn't feel even once during the tempo that I wouldn't be able to do it.

I have a a few Mantras that are working for me.

Dallin, Mara, Zane, Emmie (my kids)

3.3.5 ( my goal is 3:35 at SGM)

CAN, DO (I can so just do it :)

I'm getting super excited for SGM. I have two 22"s coming up and then taper time!!!

With Ana and Jackie AP 9:00

When we ran Monday we ran past a DEAD BODY and didn't even know it!!!! Later that morning I was going to run errands and drove along one of the streets we ran that morning and there were cop cars all over the place and they were putting up crime scene yellow tape. It wasn't that far off the road either so I am guessing if it was light we might have been the ones to discover it. Thank goodness it was Dark!!! Later that day on the news we heard about the body and me and my running friends were FREAKING out!!!

Ran with Ana and Jackie.

I love that 16 feels easy! We ran up up and up. We wanted to have the last 3 miles be down. Because of where we live we are super stong up hill but now we are feeling nervous about all the down at the end of SGM. You all no how hard down can feel at the end of a marathon. We are going to be focusing on down hill from now till the marathon.

Our new slogan... You have to go up to come down! ( we did decide it could be in-appropriate, especially in Burt's mind! We did not mean it that way. :)
