Personal:

I am a 52 yr. old single father of four children.  I am retired after injuring my back in 2000. I had back surgery, stopped running, and gained about 80 pounds. Decided to take my health into my own hands....lost 100 pounds, went to Nepal and trekked for two months in the Himalayas...climbed almost 18,000 ft.....felt so proud of myself....began running again. I qualified for Boston in Oct. 2009. I have shifted my focus now on ultra-marathons with the hope to run my first this year.

Brian,

Can your are you running Moon in June Saturday? If we have enough people sign up then we can get a booth to support our Racing the Vine race in Sept.

See you tonight, spread the word.

Two back to back tempos something seems fishy here.

Kory..

In referance to your comments...my MP from 2008 was from a first marathon I ever ran...2009 paces on based on my most recent 10 K run and have got considerably faster from all my training this year.

MP is 7.31; Tempo is 6.50 to 7.07 and recovery is 9.01....so there are no two tempos in a row..a MP run on Sunday and a mix between a MP and Tempo on Monday.

Good I was concerned for you over-training. Sometimes when we start getting fast we want to get faster too soon and can get injured. I'm glad to hear that your not going too hard.

Nice running. I was only concerned.
