Nada running. 1 hour on the elliptical (called FE for "freaking elliptical" at our house). Wasn't as bad as it could have been, I guess. I couldn't get my heart rate much above 136, even with the resistance and incline set super high (I did two of the preset workouts). Dean said that I should not set the incline high and see if that is actually "harder" -- I really need to get my heart rate at least to 160 in order to be getting a good workout. Anyway, I was glad I was able to work out (without hurting my calf). I will do it again tomorrow ... On a happy note, when I am able to run again the weather will be oh so much more comfortable ... 66F this morning!! Yippee. Only 95F last night when I left work ... Fall is gooooood!
