4 mile: 28:10 (2005)

10K: 43:33 (2010)

10 mile: 1:13:35 (2009) (1:12:15 split in 1/2 marathon, 2011)

1/2 marathon: 1:34:31 (2011)

marathon: 3:19:15 (2013)

Short-Term Running Goals:

3:20 marathon - Eugene Marathon, April 28, 2013 (can I say I really want a sub 3:20? but I will be happy with 3:20-3:23) -- whoohoo!

Some good intermediate races 15K - 1/2 marathon, to gauge my fitness level (done this, hit a 1:34:35 1/2 marathon in March 2013, on a hilly course)

Going after my 10 mile PR in Fall 2013

Maybe some good 10K races after the infernal Arizona summer is over!

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to be one of those runners who is still running in their 80s (or 90s?).  You know the ones, who look all grisley and fit?  That is what I would like!  Until then, I just want to work hard and be as fast as I can, for as long as I can.

41:17 (21:04/20:13).  Ran down to near the track and back, it is much easier to run up this hill home when I haven't done a track workout.  Tonight I will do another 50 glorious minutes on the elliptical.  Should be a good week this week, I run 3 days in a row (supplemented with 50-105` of elliptical or water running to make sure I get 90 to 2 hours workout total) and then 4 whole days in a row after a day off from running (I am not sure yet whether or not I will take a day off from cross-training, it depends on how bored I am with it ;-)).

Did not sleep well last night - we were woken up at 2AM with a chorus of coyotes (at least 20 of them -- maybe even more).  They were right outside our house and across the street in the wash, it was pretty cool.

Have a wonderful start to the week bloggers.

Coyotes scare me, irrationally. Good luck with the x-training.

Thanks Sno, I need the luck ... x-training sucks. hopefully by next week I can say good-bye to the elliptical, though I will likely keep up the pool running for a month or so more.

I really like coyotes, but it was eerie I will admit.

Hey Bonnie, sorry I haven't read your blog in a while...its been crazy hectic around here. I am glad to see you are running again though!!! Yeah!!! Crazy coyote wake-up call. They must have had a good catch.

Hi Nan, no doubt you have been busy as all get-out. Hope the decisions are coming together, I am waiting (patiently, of course, patience is one of the many virtues that I need to work on) to hear all about it!

Don't worry about not "keeping up" with my blog - listening to people talk about cross-training is second only to actually doing it in the "boring" department ;-)

Consistent workouts pay off. Keep up the consecutive running if you can. Everyt
