5K: 21:26 (2005)

4 mile: 28:10 (2005)

10K: 43:33 (2010)

10 mile: 1:13:35 (2009) (1:12:15 split in 1/2 marathon, 2011)

1/2 marathon: 1:34:31 (2011)

marathon: 3:19:15 (2013)

Short-Term Running Goals:

3:20 marathon - Eugene Marathon, April 28, 2013 (can I say I really want a sub 3:20? but I will be happy with 3:20-3:23) -- whoohoo!

Some good intermediate races 15K - 1/2 marathon, to gauge my fitness level (done this, hit a 1:34:35 1/2 marathon in March 2013, on a hilly course)

Going after my 10 mile PR in Fall 2013

Maybe some good 10K races after the infernal Arizona summer is over!

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to be one of those runners who is still running in their 80s (or 90s?).  You know the ones, who look all grisley and fit?  That is what I would like!  Until then, I just want to work hard and be as fast as I can, for as long as I can.

1:15:24.  Ran to Liberty Park and did 3 + laps on the outside grass in the snow.  Felt pretty good for not running more than 50  mins (most runs about 45 mins) while in Taiwan and traveling for 20 hours yesterday.  I actually ran every day but the first day while on the trip -- this does not sound like much, but some days were pretty hard to find time to run (I will have my blog updated tonight or tomorrow) - not to mention there were not always safe places to run!  But, overall, I did my best and managed to get a run in every day!  It was strange flying in from the tropics to a snowstorm!!

Anyway - I hope to get about 50 miles in this week and be back up to 60-65 by next week.  Our furniture will be packed and moved a week from Thursday and we will be leaving Salt Lake a week from Friday ... I am sad to be leaving you all, but we will still have the blog, and from a lot of the reading I have done -- it sounds like some of you will be in Tucson for the marathon??? I will be there - I was planning on volunteering or maybe doing it as a training run for PF Chang's the next month ...

Happy Sunday bloggers.

Good luck with your move, and welcome home. Temporary home, I guess. You have a lot of changes these days - stay healthy! :)

Thanks Snoqualmie! Congratulations on your race! I am sorry it was not quite the time you had hoped, and I actually think you were in at least 4:10 shape too, but you finished and that deserves a congratulations. It sounds like a tough day -- you stuck it out and you are a superstar for it. We still like you a lot and know you have many good races in you!

Tucsson in less than two weeks, huh? It's actually been surprisingly cold here since Saturday (40s at night!!), so maybe it won't be too much of a weather-shock! :)

If you find you're still interested in using the Tucson Marathon as a training run, our group provides the pacers for the full and half marathon, and if you'd like to lead a pace group, you get a free entry and an uber-special "pace team" technical shirt! :) Let me know if you're interested... if you've never been a pacer before, it's a ton of fun to help those people reach their goals! :)

Hi Lauren!! I will definately keep the pacing option open. Let's see how smoothly the move goes (read: how well I can keep my training during the move). I have always wanted to be a pacer, but have never been one yet. All of my friends who have really enjoyed it.

Looking forward to meeting you soon!

Bonnie, wish you well in the future. It is always different running overseas. Fun, but, real different.

Your running great, keep it up.
