PR's

5K: 21:26 (2005)

4 mile: 28:10 (2005)

10K: 43:33 (2010)

10 mile: 1:13:35 (2009) (1:12:15 split in 1/2 marathon, 2011)

1/2 marathon: 1:34:31 (2011)

marathon: 3:19:15 (2013)

Short-Term Running Goals:

3:20 marathon - Eugene Marathon, April 28, 2013 (can I say I really want a sub 3:20? but I will be happy with 3:20-3:23) -- whoohoo!

Some good intermediate races 15K - 1/2 marathon, to gauge my fitness level (done this, hit a 1:34:35 1/2 marathon in March 2013, on a hilly course)

Going after my 10 mile PR in Fall 2013

Maybe some good 10K races after the infernal Arizona summer is over!

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to be one of those runners who is still running in their 80s (or 90s?).  You know the ones, who look all grisley and fit?  That is what I would like!  Until then, I just want to work hard and be as fast as I can, for as long as I can.

AM: (9.5+ miles, 1:21:43). 25:31 wu + 18 x 1` @ slightly faster than 5k effort w 1` recovery + 20:22 cd. The first few were a little fast, so I felt these a little more than I should in the final ones ... but all and all a fun workout.

PM: (4 miles, 36:32).  Reid Park ... in the dark.

Wow, you are rocking and rolling with the mileage (and SPEED)! Any races coming up? How are you liking AZ so far?

Hi Shauna!

Things are coming together right now (this "build-up" has been about 2 years in the making), I am pretty excited. I am running a "fun" race on Thanksgiving day and hopefully some more shorter things after that. My goal is to run a 1/2 marathon PR sometime this winter (maybe PF Changs) and then train for a marathon in the late spring.

So far (being that the weather is perfect right now) I really like it here. Great places to run and it is beautiful. And, I like my new job a lot.

How are you feeling these days? work seems to be better for you?

Great job, Bonnie! I'm not sure I understand the techno running talk, but I can see that you ran a LOT of miles today, and it looks like there was a lot of speed in there too, excellent!

Lybi,

You crack me up. I am sorry you felt sick on your run today (but I am not sorry since it is indicative of a happy thing!).

I am sure you understand (1 min hard 1 min easy 18 times!). I am feeling pretty good right now (but tired!).

I love reading your blog - you are very inspiring. Can't wait to meet you soon!
