5K: 21:26 (2005)

4 mile: 28:10 (2005)

10K: 43:33 (2010)

10 mile: 1:13:35 (2009) (1:12:15 split in 1/2 marathon, 2011)

1/2 marathon: 1:34:31 (2011)

marathon: 3:19:15 (2013)

Short-Term Running Goals:

3:20 marathon - Eugene Marathon, April 28, 2013 (can I say I really want a sub 3:20? but I will be happy with 3:20-3:23) -- whoohoo!

Some good intermediate races 15K - 1/2 marathon, to gauge my fitness level (done this, hit a 1:34:35 1/2 marathon in March 2013, on a hilly course)

Going after my 10 mile PR in Fall 2013

Maybe some good 10K races after the infernal Arizona summer is over!

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to be one of those runners who is still running in their 80s (or 90s?).  You know the ones, who look all grisley and fit?  That is what I would like!  Until then, I just want to work hard and be as fast as I can, for as long as I can.

~41 mins running + 1:20 pool running.  I can't wait until I get my new(er) swimsuit this (new) one is boring me ;-).  Dean said that he might come with me to pool run on Saturday ... the couple that pool runs together ... ?

This week is all about testing running multiple days in a row (and hopefully checking out my orthotics if/when they get here).  Greg told me it would drive me crazy ... he was right. Luckily, I have my wonderful cross-training program zzzzzzz.  Funniest blog entry from Julia Lucas, she is SO right on the money!  (I LOVED Sno's blog link today too, I highly recommend it!).

So, Stephanie Rothstein was 4th in the USATF 10K championships yesterday, very happy for her, almost 30 secs faster than Cow Harbor!  Good job for Molly Huddle -- she is tearing up the 10K scene!!

I hope you are all having fun, enjoying the fall and behaving yourself ;-)

That was too funny! Do you see in the picture that she's running in a graveyard? LOL! I enjoyed that a lot and put her in my favorites. She's adorable. Wish I could look that cute in short hair. Or cute in short hair like you, Bonnie! But Mr. Sno and I have both agreed it is not ok. Really not ok.

Sno, I hadn't noticed that, but that does add a certain "extra" to it!!

Hi Sammy, I hope so, it sure is boring so it must be good for me ;). One thing is for sure, after 2 hours of both land and water running I am STARVING!

Great blog entry! That is exactly how it feels to start running again after an injury! LOL!

Sounds like progress, Bonnie! Orthotics soon, eh? Do you have to get different shoes for them?
