5K: 21:26 (2005)

4 mile: 28:10 (2005)

10K: 43:33 (2010)

10 mile: 1:13:35 (2009) (1:12:15 split in 1/2 marathon, 2011)

1/2 marathon: 1:34:31 (2011)

marathon: 3:19:15 (2013)

Short-Term Running Goals:

3:20 marathon - Eugene Marathon, April 28, 2013 (can I say I really want a sub 3:20? but I will be happy with 3:20-3:23) -- whoohoo!

Some good intermediate races 15K - 1/2 marathon, to gauge my fitness level (done this, hit a 1:34:35 1/2 marathon in March 2013, on a hilly course)

Going after my 10 mile PR in Fall 2013

Maybe some good 10K races after the infernal Arizona summer is over!

Long-Term Running Goals:

I want to be one of those runners who is still running in their 80s (or 90s?).  You know the ones, who look all grisley and fit?  That is what I would like!  Until then, I just want to work hard and be as fast as I can, for as long as I can.

1:55:32.  Ran down in the desert today ... I hadn't run this route since last may (snake season) ... although it is "overall" more flat than my usual runs it is tough because there are some long grades in sandy/rocky terrain and lots of downs and ups - in and out of deep washes - it was nice to be back!!  Another beautiful day.

Very tired today, had quite the busy weekend with my friends -- did just about all the fun things there are to do here with visitors, although with one more day it would have been better as we did not get to the Mission (which is very cool -- a very old (1700s) mission on the reservation that has some spectacular statues and just very cool).  And it would have been nice to have brunch at the botanic gardens (though probably not as popular with the 11 year old boy set, except maybe the prickly pear lemonade).  Now I have to take a nap so I can get caught up on some of the work I missed over the weekend ...

I hope you all have a wonderful Sunday!

Congrats to McMillan Elite -- both men and women teams won club cross-country nationals.  The men absolutely dominated (only 29 points!!!! the next team had 69 points)!!!

Our Nan also just killed it!!! She really rocks!

Great run Bonnie!! And because I am IMPATIENT about run updates, how DID Nan do. Rocked it for sure as she always does. She hasn't written anything yet. Fill us in.

Nan was the 3rd runner overall! Since it was cross-country times are not really relevant, but she was in the 19's for 6k.

Her team did not fair as well, they were 4th, even though they got the 1st and 3rd spots.

Nan never ceases to amaze me.

Nice 13 miler Bonnie :)

Nan is indeed a superstar! Nice run as always--I am surprised you do not race ultras? Seems like trail running is something you enjoy!

THANK YOU April, for pointing out the obvious. Bonnie would make a great trail/ultra runner. She just needs to give into the dark side...

ha ha ha KP ... well, I will let you in on a little secret, in about 1.5 years I will be running either a 50K or 50 miler that I plan to do on/around my 50th birthday. However, in general, I don't think I am an ultra runner, I am a closet track runner (just not fast enough to be good at it) ;-)
