Ran an easy 4 miles in the morning. Still trying to work out the calf pain.
Ran an easy 6.5 mile loop in afternoon. Calf still in a bit of pain. Icing after each run.

Some more thoughts on the calf. I noticed that you missed a few days of training from skiing, then trained as normal, then got the calf pain. I wonder if your calf is very sensitive to sudden increases in stress. So if you take a few days off, it gets very confused when you start training again.

Thanks for the insight on the calf dilemma. The only day I took off was sunday. I just haven't been the best about getting my workouts entered in the blog. Partly because I am skiing so much.
