I am married to a fellow runner and we are blessed with  3 awesome kids ages 9,6, and 1.  I have been running for 7 years.  It is my sanity saver!!!

I did the Payson Onion Days 10k.  Overall time was 49:05, 10th in my age group, 17th overall.

I got up, hit the gym, did 2 slow miles on the tm, then did the elliptical for 25 minutes.  I came home and hit the river trail. I ran into Lily and ran with her for about 2 miles before I told her to go on ahead cause I was feeling to sore and tired to keep up with her.  Not long after we parted ways, I ran into a neighborhood jogger who I have always considered to be pretty slow. Well, she has put some speed on because she was almost keeping up with me and I couldn't have that, so I pushed it and lost her.  It raised my average pace up to 7:10/min.  I may be slightly competitive.

I ran two slow miles and was worried about how sore I am feeling so I took it down to a walk.  I really want to feel fresh and good for the weekend so I can get a longer good run in before tapering off for TOU.

Walk/jog on the tm. Still trying to get over feeling so tired and sore.  Maybe tomorrow I will sleep in and do nothing...if I can stand it. Lily and I went to a running class at Runner's Corner last night. It was awesome. I highly reccommend it.  Be ready to be filmed and crituiqed though. A little embarrassing but so worth it.
