2:59 hrs easy

Fighting with a light cold, but it's not that I feel bad. So I decided to start the run and see how I feel. I thought so much about it that I came into a "Forrest Gump-mode". I said: "I came until this point, so I can run to the next" and so on. The first loop was about 25k...

First run without carbohydrate intake.

Outstanding trainer....Keep up the great training, the clod will pass and life will return. So Bro Martin, whats with the .07 on the end of that great 20 miler. Did you do that just to hit the top of the Mileage Board :) (: Good Work

Forest Gump mode is fantastic. Great run!

Great long run. It’s cool how the body starts to learn to burn fat and not need the carbs. I do almost all of my runs before eating anything in the morning and without any carbs. Mostly just because it takes less preparation.

Thank you all! I appreciate your comments very much!

Those 0,07 miles are because we use kilometers and because I wasn't back at the car when reaching 32 km...

Part of the purpose for the 20 miler for marathon prep is to have your body and mind learn how to use and process the carbs and be able to handle the intake and not create other issues (upset stomach, etc.). Learning the signs your body sends on when to take aid is a big purpose for the long run. Carb depletion on a 20 miler is really not necessary.

Thank you! You know I appreciate your advice very much. I will try to get the electrolyte-water they will give during the marathon and use it for my long runs. No carb depletion anymore!
