5.45

Gym speed work. I wanted to use the tracks but I had a very late start this morning and conditions at 9AM were quite horrible. I did a total of 5.45 on the treatmill and included 4 intervals of 0.5M at speed of 3:20-3:25 per half a mile.

0:42:00

It's now decided. My next race will be 5K on September 6th. Lots of speed work for me.

Ever run Charlotte Observer Marathon in SC? I ran a few years back it was in January and the weather was not bad considering the time of year.

No I have not. In fact I haven't ran any marathon so far. My first one will probably be the national marathon in DC next March.

The one in Charoltte (NC not SC) is now called Charoltte Thunder Road marathon. A friend of mine ran it and he said it was quite hilly and he recommended I would not do it as my first.
