Met Riley, Bret, Dave and Albert at 21st pond to do a workout.

warm was 3.15 miles

workout was 8X600 for me w/90 second recovery

pace was anywhere between 72 pace to 75 pace

Repeat splits were 1:55.39; 1:55.53; 1:55.52; 1:51.40; 1:54.02; 1:50.95; 1:52.40; 1:51.17

Felt good for the workout. Cut it after 8 for precautionary reasons, just trying to be smart and not rushing back into anything right now. Body is feeling good and still feel like I am gaining fitness, hopefully I can keep it that way for awhile

workout and cool was 8.20 miles

total mileage-11.35

perfect strategy Ben for what you are feeling. I can completely understand how an injury mindset works now. Not fun to regress back and you are definitely only going forward from here. You look great. I love 600's for perfect speed/stamina balance. 8-12 is a great effort on this workout. Nice work and keep it up. Look forward to partying with yall at SCH. By the way, I have a 2:06 tee time at Sand Hollow for 4. :)

Spencer count me in! And thanks for the props! Injuries do suck and I mostly feel like a wuss when I cut back or cut workouts short but I tell you what I would rather do that then have that stinking IT band injury again. See you next weekend, I am glad you are running again!
