I live in upstate NY. I am the oldest of four kids. I've been running since the spring of 2003 when I decided to shed some extra weight and maybe go out for my high school cross country team. Currently am doing MS in Education. Hope to teach Social Studies one day. I have the most amazing girlfriend ever, and she frequently goes running/jogging/hiking with me. Going to marry her one day :)

8:30AM - Did an easy 10 miler after a long work week before going over to Massachusetts to spend the day with my cutie. Not sure again what the mileage will be like this week since after yet another failed attempt at fixing the treadmill. Now the tread doesn't rub on the left side, but is too loose and it sticks and stays in one place once I hop onto it.

Ran nice and easy.  Not breathing too hard.  Temp felt like late March.  Around 40 degrees with a high expected of 47 today!  Surprisingly and perhaps eerily calm before that tempest of a storm is supposed to arrive today.  Was a little breezy, so glad I still bundled up like normal.  I really need to get to Walmart or whatever and get some more clothes. Tired of having to wash the same running clothes again and again!

Total Mileage:  10.04  Miles   Total Time:  1:18:55  Average Pace:  7:51 / Mile

Benn, you have great dedication. Keep up the good work and be sure that you are running because you enjoy it and receive lots of satisfaction from a good run. For Christmas you deserve some more running clothes. Merry Christmas to you and yours. Paul

If you have a Target their they have good winter running close for cheap.

Good job on the training, I can't wait to see what you do in your half marathon on new years day! I guess no partying the night before. Hope you and your family have a very merry christmas. Cheers josse
