Easy 8 miles easy effort. Out to the hospital via 7800 south and back. Last two miles at sub six minute pace. Careful not to get over 150 bpm again.

Steve - did you not run Deseret News this morning?
From Ashbaker on Fri, Jul 24, 2009 at 11:25:45 from 98.99.87.102
No I did not. I was just too tired and undertrained. I have to back in to work at midnight anyway so it would not have been a good idea. Running does not pay the bills unfortunately so job comes first.

I have been thinking about the Omaha marathon in September. Very challenging course with lots of hills in the first 14 miles.. Hot and humid one year I was there. Back in 97 I believe.

That sounds like a good plan. Sorry about the training. I have a few people that are keeping their eyes open for any jobs for you.
I'm thinking I might have a milder form of some virus I had in 2005 where my lungs were toasted for 2 months straight.

Thanks Maurine, As for the virus I can only recommend focusing on rest antioxidants and more rest for now. Run hard when you feel like your body wants to but back off when tired. Over time this can really work. Are you running tomorrow?
