Easy 6 miles at 7-7:30/mile.  Trax loop.  42:46 total time.  Felt very relaxing this morning.  Not much else of note except I'm a little nervous about this weekend.  Numbers and gut instinct say I should break 2:30 but that is only if everything plays out ok.  I'm pushing 40 now and things get tricky sometimes in terms of recovery and speed.  When your 20 something you can go out and kill yourself with intervals and recover in a day or two.   Not so now, you have to really pay attention to details and not overdo things in the last week.  But I feel like a tiger in a cage you know.

Man I hate tapering.. It can really mess with your mind if you let it.

Steve, Good luck. You will be in my prayers. Just a suggestion, but take it one mile at a time and enjoy it! I know that tapering sucks but it is one of those things that needs to be done.

Steve,

I am running TOU with my wife so she will come in just about two hours after you. I think you are going to nail it. I'll look for you to introuduce myself offically. Best of Luck

Steve, I am so with you about the taper madness. I've been trying to keep myself distracted with work but focus is completely out the door... Look forward to seeing you again on Saturday.

Hi everyone, Thanks Barry, you too. Adam; Stay busy anyway. See you also. And Jon, I sent my entry last second so I'm not surprised but I will definitely check on that one. Thanks!
