Well, I manged 7 miles today even if they were at less than full power let's say. But my calf is telling me there will be a price tomorrow. Seeing this, I will take tomorrow off and go for launch again on Monday. On an interesting note, I saw a black stallion in a corral walking alongside two other horses. He took notice and neighed as I went by. What an awesome creature I thought to myself. One of these days I hope I'll be able to have one when I retire, but at the rate I'm going it will have to be when I'm 90 or so! Dark Horse out....

It is great that you are running again and that you got to see your name sake while running. One of my favorite races in college was the Beloit Invitational. It ran at a park and around a horse farm. It was a double loop course. When we ran past the horses they would "race" us along the fence. One of the truly exciting parts of any race I've ever been in. Seeing a creature designed for strength and running, so beautiful!
