Easy to medium paced run today after work with 4 miles at MP pace.  Not feeling to bad today in the legs after yesterday. Went home and spent Easter with the kids and generally had a pleasant day.  Anybody in the mood to run 26.2 this weekend?  I know I am baby! Bring it on.   I just hope I don't hit the wall on the scarcity of training I undertook this year..

Steve - is there any real urge to want to win this race since no one gets paid?

Good luck racing on Saturday.

Maurine, Yes, I love to race and to test my limits both in spirit and body. It makes me stronger as a person somehow, and in some unique way that is different with each experience. Sounds sappy but it's true.

Steve--good luck with the marathon Saturday. I'm sure you'll do great, even if you think you haven't trained enough. Someone of your caliber is always ready to run a great marathon.

That's good to know. I think that is something I need to work on. I am starting to enjoy the feeling of passing people when I am running.

Sometimes I wonder if the reason I always came in last in races is because I was raised to avoid any conflicts at all in my life and passing people would have been a conflict.

Good luck in the race - I hope you accomplish your goals.

Steve, I'll keep my eyes open for you Saturday. Do you like anything in particular yelled at you? I assume you do not need B-I-N-G-O...
