AM-Easy 30 min ride to warm the legs up and then 12 miles on the same route as yesterday only difference was that some of the workout was out towards Syracuse.

PM-Easy bike ride again. This evening I stopped at Barnes at Noble and browsed through some Thoreau to engage my mind on other things for a while. It was actually pretty interesting and engaging prose in some places and relaxing for a change.  Yeah so what I know I'm a book nerd sometimes. I can't help it though it's just who I am and I'm to old to change anyhow..

No need to apologize for liking books.

You have to read Thoreau slowly. Each sentence and paragraph need to be pondered and rolled over in your mind.

Ever read his essay "Walking"? Google it and you can find it free on the internet. It convinced me that he would have been an ultra trail runner if he lived today.

What's wrong with reading books. It's all knowledge and what a benefit that it. Good to see you running
