| This is my 5th installmant of this race and my slowest.
However, I was still happy with the effort.
The weather was perfect 45F.
With my slow training and complete lull in any training last summer I really wasn't expecting much. I lined up in the back and tried to go out as conservative as possible. Then just spent the race picking people off. By the turn around there were not many people in reach and the whole second half worked to pick off one more to get under the top 10. 1 mile each warm-up and cool-down. I hope I can keep up my current trend and get back to somewhere near where I was... Especially with Berlin coming up in September, would really like to see another sub-3... Miles in and fundraising a going...
