My sleep was a little restless last night. Did my commute run via SugarHouse. Knee was tighter than last night but not too bad. Trying to focus more on stretching. Today is mostly computer work so to it... Avg. 9:26 HR 142

Have you tried elevating your knee at night when you sleep. Last year when I had knee pain I did this when I went to sleep and it seem to help.

How's the workload been and the stress level? God bless you in those areas.

Here everyone talk about the Sugarhouse run. Where is that too?

Hi Kory, That is a good idea. Stretching helps a lot. As you know that leg has always given me problems.

The workload has been hit'n miss. My review article came out last week and my first primary article from the lab was submitted last night, and next month I'm heading to a meeting to present two other stories. So overall things are progressing and "should" get less stressful.

The Sugarhouse run probably varies for everyone. In this instance it is just going past the park on my way into campus. It is in the opposite direction so it is my way to add on some miles. SugarHouse Park is one of the two larger parks in SLC (Liberty Park being the other). SugarHouse has a nice outer grass loop. SugarHouse may also refer to the neighborhood surrounding the park...

Knee acting up again?

Dude, have you ever considered amputation? I'm just saying...

Thanks for the explanation. I hope your presentation goes well. Your research and study is really vital for the future and I really hope it gets exposure and a breakthrough. The knee is such a strange functional part of our body. You can have an ache then it goes away without any aide on our part.

I really hope you get knee pain free. Your such a great athlete and haven't touched what you could really do in a marathon.

Jon, I like that idea. It will really help with my pirate Halloween costume if I have a peg leg.

Kory, The knee is a frustrating thing. The sad part is this cycling of knee pain has become so common that I almost schedule it in my training program... Thanks for the kind words and have a great weekend.
