Just focusing on sleep. Had a few loose ends to tie up and then in the afternoon was off to the airport. I'm actually now in New Orleans. Everyone on the homefront and myself included seem to be getting back to normal. No running while I'm here. I didn't want to push my luck so I left my running stuff at home. This is the first time I've ever done that. Really stinks as this meeting has 40,000 attendees and has a 5K race on Tues morning but I didn't want to tempt myself as I know I have no self control. Right now get healthy and when I'm back to my "normal" routine next Monday I'll give it another go... So I may not bothering updating until then. But then again why not at least it allows me to think about running for a few minutes each day even if I'm not doing it. Hey at this point I'll take what I can get...

I'm impressed at the discipline you and other elite runners on this blog have when it comes to NOT running due to circumstances...it can't be easy. Hope the break works out well. Have a good week!

Thanks JD. Just trying to have patience. That and there is enough other junk going on that I don't want to think about the injury until I can have the time to really focus on "fixing" it...

Hope you and the family are feeling better from the sickness that was ravaging your home. Travel safely in New Orleans and just focus on recovering both mentally and physically. Running will be there for you when you get back. Enjoy the time off to be refreshed and ready to run again.

Thanks Jeff. I seem to be ok and I thought my wife was clear as well but it popped up again last night after only an 18 hr repreave. I'm coming home pretty early tomorrow (leaving the hotel at 4:30am) so I should be there to help out. I'm just looking forward to when I get get that running relaxation again.
