AM: Almost no coughing so far this morning. The weather was nicer than I was expecting and I was a bit overdressed but the run in was good. Legs are tired from all the down time (and probably sickness) the last few days. I swear I have been sick more this year than the last 5 yr combined :( A&W commute run into work.

Hope you get to feeling better. Jake and I are wearing surgical masks during travel this weekend to try to avoid germs! So what's the family's impression of Birmingham? Sounds like you had a pretty nice trip overall.

sorry you've been sick. i haven't been sick in forever and then last week some little bug destroyed me. ugh. hope you are feeling better.

Andrea,

The girls liked the travel and thought the trip was cool. Not sure if they are old enough to understand that it could mean a potential move. Sandra prefers Utah but we agreed that there were places we could live. Now just comes the decision of deciding what option is best for career and family. I do not think we could go wrong either way but it will be at least another 4 wk until I get all the details.

Allie, Sorry to here you are also dealing with this. It seems like everyone is sick. I came back to lab and a number of people also have colds. I hope that they are not all different strains that we can trade around. Get better soon.

Welcome back Adam! Glad you had a good trip... sounds like you'll have a big decision to make, but at least it sounds like you have good options and some time to make a choice without feeling too rushed.

Hope you feel better soon! Everytime I see someone sneeze or cough at work it freaks me out. I'm trying to avoid contact w/ people at all costs right now :-)

Jake, I don't blame you. I feel guilty knowing I'm on the same campus as you. I'll keep my germs down the hill...
