| 28 degrees at 2:30 p.m. Make up run from Friday. Nice to do my standard route with some daylight. Fairly easy effort. One mile in 7:51. Uphill miles at 9's or slower. 5 miles in 46:21 or about 8:43 overall pace. Salvaged the week, but need to get a couple of 12 mile Saturday's and an 14 miler in sometime before Painter's 1/2 Marathon in St. George in mid-January. | Add Comment |

Nice to have some more daylight to run in. I'm off until January 5th! 9:00 a.m. run in the snow. Got bad while I was out there half way. 5 miles at 9:00 pace overall. Not all that fast, but considering in multiple layers and slick roads, I think it was a good effort. | Add Comment |

| 6.2 miles or 10 kilometers over a modified standard route, mostly adding hillwork in the subdivisions of Elk Ridge and Deer Hollow. 55:45, or just under 9:00 minute miles. Fairly easy effort. Cloudy and 25 degrees, light snow in places and sunshine at the end. Felt pretty good. | Add Comment |

| 6.6 miles wandering. Easy 9:24 pace. Cold, but sunny and clear. A nice morning for a run. Felt pretty good. Taking tomorrow off for Christmas and then hope to hit another 6 on Friday and a long run on Saturday. Need to get a 12 miler in. Painter's Half marathon in St. George is coming up fast. I'm not feeling ready, but it's an early event. | Add Comment |

| Christmas Day. Didn't run. New treadmill is all set and ready to go. No more excuses on cold, wet mornings. | Add Comment |

| Slow running on snow and ice with cleats. 6.6 miles with Tina and her sister-in-law, Sonya, from Spokane, WA. People looked at us as if we were nuts out there running on snowy, icy roads, but it was an enjoyable run. 10:00 minute miles was about the best we could do overall. 10 miles, at least, tomorrow is a must. I hope the roads are cleared and the weather improving. | Add Comment |

| 10 miler on ice and snow. Cleats worked okay, but slow run at just under 10 minute miles overall. 4 miles with Sonya and about 8+ with Tina. Came home at 10 miles and hit 2 more on the treadmill. Sloppy, ugly, cold, wet weather. Glad to get in 12. Painter's Half-marathon in 3 weeks. | Add Comment |
