Nice, easy recovery run. Experiencing typical post marathon soreness. Psychologically, I am feeling a lot better than I have been for a few weeks.

Still sore but feeling quite a bit better. Tried pushing the pace for a couple of miles but didn't get much faster than marathon pace.

Ran the Davis Blvd. loop. 400 ft elevation gain the first 3 miles then rolling to flat for 3 miles then a 400 ft drop the last 3. Ran a slow pace but legs started to fatigue towards the end. This may have been a little too much of a run for a recovery week. Next 2 days will be easy runs.

Very cool morninig. I'm starting to get bored with the same running routes so I explored a little today. Went past the golf course then turned towards the lake. Found a nice bike path and dirt road that I didn't know existed. Once I went through a couple of hundred yards of stench from the dump it was a nice run. Wanted to test how the recovery is going so I ran the last 1/2 mile at tempo pace. Felt really good.

Another cool morning. Felt really good this morning. The last 4 miles I decided to bump up the pace each mile. Started at marathon pace and ran the last mile at 1/2 marathon pace. Other than a small ache in my right hamstring, everything felt really good.

Felt very sluggish and tired at the beginning of the run. Planned on using only water today but took 1 GU packet with me just in case. Ended up taking the GU at mile 9 and once it kicked in I felt a lot better. Finished the run with 2 miles at marathon pace. Was only going to run 14 today but went a little long so that I could finish the week with 50 miles. Felt a twinge in my right calf every once in a while just to remind me that it's still not 100%.
