To say this run was slow would be an understatement.  I just wanted to get my legs moving and make a feeble attempt at burning off some of the garbage I ate over the weekend.  My calves and hamstrings are very sore but everything else feels good.  I am going to schedule a massage but am unsure if I should do it now or wait until some of the soreness goes away.  Anybody have an opinion on that?

I think the sooner the better. But if you wait until thursday it will be less painful. But if you get it before it will work out all that lactic acid sooner. I am gettin mine on thursday.

My calves are so sore I don't think I could handle a massage. I don't know if it was the cold but my muscle (even arms and back) ache like I just lifted some major weights. You are a crazy man but good to see you are able to run today. I may try tomorrow.

Nice shake out run. Andy I wanted to meet you but I never did see you come in. Oh well will meet at one of these races in the future. Nice work this morning and nice marathon under the bad conditions.
