Started with 3 easy miles and felt yucky.  The plan says to run a tune up race but I just ran a 4 mile tempo run instead.  First mile was slow (6:32) but then got into a groove and ran the rest in 6:24, 6:24 and 6:19.  The last 3 felt decent although my chest is feeling a little heavy.

How do you do that when you feel kinda yucky?

You are completely crazy and incredibly amazing!!! :)

When's lunch?

Smooth - Ripped?? Ha ha. You are very funny.

Paul - I'm actually not very dedicated to the plan. I use it as a general guide but do not stick to it as close as I probably should.

Teena - I know that once I get going my body will respond so I try to ignore how I feel during the first couple of miles. I'm always available for lunch.

Good job Andy, you're just getting to the end of a tough training cycle. It's normal to be tired right now. After your taper you'll be fresh and ready for a great race.
