Pushed the pace a little today. Threw in a few strides. As my legs fatigued, I could really feel (and hear) my feet slapping the ground. Backed off for a mile until things were under control again. Was able to finish strong and in control.

How old is your 5 K PR, and which course did you do it on? Also, where and when did you run your best half-marathon?

From Andy on Mon, May 22, 2006 at 21:15:06

5K PR was run in April of this year at Wheeler farm (corporate games). My 1/2 marathon PR is at the Provo 1/2 last year. It is my one and only 1/2 marathon.

What do you think about running Magna 5 K this Saturday?

From Andy on Wed, May 24, 2006 at 07:02:23

It's going to be a busy weekend so I don't think that I can make it to Magna on Saturday.
