My eye is causing me a lot of trouble.  It was to much of a distraction running with one eye closed so I only got in 5 miles.  I'm going to try to get into the eye doctor today to see what is going on.

that doesn't sound fun. is this 'contact lens' related again?

Sorry to hear about the eye Andy. Hope you get some good news at the doc.

From Andy on Fri, Nov 14, 2008 at 11:15:44

I wear disposable contacts and have a tendency to leave them in longer than I should. Every couple of years I get an infection in my eye because of it. I have learned my lesson and will do what I am supposed to from now on.

Wow yeah 2nd day of a hurting eye. That would drive me nuts. Hopefully it will be feeling better for tomorrows run. Looking forward to running with you guys. And also Kathie and Kimmy might come join us with a little help.

Hey Andy I had Lasic (sp) done on my eyes almost ten years ago and it is the best thing I have ever done worth every penny IMO!

From Cal on Fri, Nov 14, 2008 at 15:28:38

Ditto on the lasik. Good stuff. I used to have all sorts of issues with contacts too, up until a year ago.

From Andy on Fri, Nov 14, 2008 at 15:30:54

I know that lasik would be worth every penny but it is a lot of pennies. Maybe one day.
