Decided last night that doing the last scheduled speed session before Des News would probably do more harm than good. Woke up this morning and legs felt better so decided to do the workout as planned (3 X 1 mile @ 5K pace). First repeat felt good (6:15). Felt really in control. Slight tail wind on second repeat (6:10). Last was into a slight headwind and finished going up an overpass (6:23). Left knee still sore and right calf tightened up a few times. Will most likely take tomorrow off. |
