Achilles did not hurt this morning until I put my shoes on.  The extra little lift the shoes give my foot must be causing the problem.  I started wearing new shoes on Friday and the pain started on Sunday.  It's gotta be the shoes.  I've been wearing the same model for over 5 years so it's strange that it started causing problems now.  There was pain during the run (6 out of 10?) but it is manageable and I should be alright once I get used to it.  Running did not seem to make it any worse.  The only issue is that I could start to feel my right ITB because it was compensating for the left achilles pain.

I'm glad it was feeling a bit better today. Wierd that the same model shoes all of the sudden started causing problems. Good luck figuring it all out.

Way to be smart yesterday, stopping your run when you were limping.

Put those shoes on the shelf!!!!!

I think you and RivertonPaul should let me e-stim and tape you. It couldn't hurt!

Keep close tabs on your budding injury.

Looks like the archilles and ITB need some intervention! I can assist with scissors (cutting the tapes). What about shaving, Rhett is good at that; but he lives too far. Ahhah, Teena is good at waxing! When's the party? :)

I hope it gets better fast...not sure I want to attend the party though :)
