Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

No running. Jake and I decided to hike up Mt. Olympus, which turned out to be much harder and longer than running. 4200 ft of vertical over 3.5 miles - that's pretty steep! I'm definitely out of hiking shape, especially the downhill pounding. We were proud to hit an 18:30 mile...kinda funny when you're used to running wayyy faster. The scrambling at the top of the mountain was my favorite part, the ice not so much! We had a good time, but it doesn't even come close to hiking up and being able to SKI down.

Looks like fun, and you got UP above the gunk in the air so that was nice! Be careful on that ice, it can do some serious damage to your buttocks if you fall. ;o)

Sweet! I like the pics. This is one of my favorites in the winter, but the descent isn't any fun on the steep slick 'trail'. Luckily there isn't much snow and ice to deal with up near the summit right now.

Kelli - It was nice to get out of the inversion!

Scott - We saw quite a few trail runners out there, but they weren't nearly as hard-core as you. I don't think any of them made it farther than 2 miles!
