Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

AM - 5 miles, extended horsepark loop with Jake. Then 30 minutes of yoga. My back felt like it was tied up in knots from all the traveling so it was good to stretch and loosen it up again.

It was so fun to meet you in person! You are my hero! I wish I had your pretty, long running legs! You are amazing. Congrats on the 5K time!!

I hope you're not too sad you didn't run Boston :) Good luck this Saturday!

It was great to meet you too Steam8! I wish I had time to talk to you a little longer - I've heard a bit about you from RAD :) I'm really thinking about putting together a FRB dinner or something so we can all hang out. It would be so much fun!

Lulu - HA! Jake and I were joking about how miserable and pathetic I would've been if I had run on Monday...I probably would refuse to run for a month and never be willing to run a marathon ever again. So yeah, I'm not too sad that I missed it!

That would be fun to get together for dinner. I would love to hear your running stories! I am really not worthy to sit at the same table though! You are amazing!

I hate my back..... I am betting we have the same back issue. Next time we meet up, we should talk about it and you can show me where you hurt, I'll show you where I hurt. haha

This will be your first week EVER running more miles than me... how does it feel? :-)

Good job getting out and loosening up. Traveling is hard on a body. Glad you all had a good time in Boston :)
