Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

AM - Weights for 30 minutes then yoga + massage. Felt lightheaded this morning - probably still a little dehydrated from being out in the sun all day yesterday. I'm actually kind of enjoying not running everyday. I must really need some mental rejuvenation.

Some pics from James and Allie's wedding -

My legs are just giving me the finger today when I think about running :) I want to...but I don't think it will happen. Thanks for the pics! What a beautiful day!!

ha. thanks for posting some pics -- i actually haven't seen any yet. i'm glad you got a picture of the aisle since i never saw it from that direction. also, my little birdie looks photoshopped in pic #3, and i blame my very unenthusiastic demeanor on the fact that 8000 psi of stress had just come out of my head. love the picture of me, you, and bonnie.

I loved the pictures. Allie, you look so beautiful. I could have sworn you were going to wear Nike Frees with your dress - but those pretty sandals look like they'd be pretty fast too.

Way to protect your feet Allie! My rheumatologist says people who wear heels get no sympathy from him. Looks like a great time.
