Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

AM - Spin class for an hour - a pretty good replacement for running. I had a good competition with a girl beside me that's on the U of U cycling team...pretty sure she won but I was working a lot harder. The whole time I was thinking "I would crush you if we were running right now." Haha - the gym is so competitive.

PM - 20 min elliptical, 8 x 30 seconds on, 1 min off. My mileage this week is depressing!

Love the competitive spirit! It's amazing how the gym brings it out in us.

I still think you should have worn my discovery channel team jersey!

I won't tell anyone if you decide to raise your mileage for Sunday to an even 1.

Oh crud, sorry about your aches and pains---but I LOVE spin class. It is a great workout if you push yourself, and I am sure you did!

Have a great Christmas, aren't you guys headed out of town?

From Andrea on Wed, Dec 21, 2011 at 15:42:53 from 72.37.244.100

Kelli - yeah, we are headed southeast for a Tennessee Christmas :o) I'm going to make Jake listen to the song about 100 times on the way there! We'll be back on the 30th, so I'm still hoping for a New Years Eve run party.

From Kelli on Wed, Dec 21, 2011 at 17:09:46 from 71.219.80.158

Love that song. I was actually wondering WHY Tennessee in that song, is Amy Grant from Tennessee? She must be. BUT I like the Alabama version of the song best. ;o)

Have a great Christmas, travel safely, and maybe we will join you for that run.
