Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

AM - Run/walk party with Allie at Sugarhouse Park this morning, 3 miles worth of running. Good times...this should definitely become a post-marathon/season/injury/just-for-fun tradition.

can i be a part of the tradition??? i have yet to take a true break off from my injury from march. i think i am the stupidest person on the blog (I will take crazy over stupid but recently i feel more stupid). So kudos for taking the time off. my time off comes oct 6th at about 9:50 to 10am depending on how it all pans out....i hate it when you have keen memory and can still feel the finish line of pain!! i need some brainwashing ; D

the only thing that would make this tradition better is refueling with biscuits and omelets @ ruth's after the strenuous run/walk. next time we'll just have to ditch work.

Of course JulieC!

Allie - there's always tomorrow :)

Hey! I could probably keep up with you two now! Are you feeling ANY better?

From Andrea on Fri, Sep 21, 2012 at 13:36:52 from 72.37.171.52

Natalie - you would crush both of us right now in a run-off. I would have to hop on one leg and Allie would just lay on the ground after 4 miles.

In terms of feeling better...I think I'm making a little progress, but it's soo slowww.

i'm actually more likely to collapse after 3 miles, especially if we don't stop for donuts.
