Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

AM - Met Emily J. and went to spin class. It was hard - so much harder than an easy 1-hour run would've been. Good workout, although I'm almost sad that I didn't get to enjoy the warm temps outside this morning.

PM - 4.2 miles, met up with Jake and ran home.  Got to wear shorts and no gloves!

Where do you guys go to Spin? I think I will be ready for that in a few weeks :)

Based on this morning's weather, my prediction is that its going to feel like its 60 degrees out this afternoon, so you can run w/ me then!

Cross training is hard! ha ha seriously way harder than running easy. Nice work!

We are both members of 24 Hour Fitness so we will probably do spin classes at most of their locations - Sugarhouse, Taylorsville, 900E, etc. You don't happen to be a member, do you?

Cannot believe the Spring like weather we had today!

I just read about your back and foot pain. Hope you get some good answers from the doctor. You are doing a good job with xtraining. Hang in there! :)

I am a recent covert to the 24-er as well. I typically go to the Trolley location, but they don't have spin. I am a good 3 weeks out from spin class I imagine, but after that I am down anytime.

That's great! I'm really glad I decided to join this year as well. It has definitely come in handy (especially the hot tub :o)). Anytime you want to meet, I will probably be up for it. Let me know when you are ready for spin. Jake told me that you walked a little too much the other day...it's so hard to know how much is too much. You are definitely making progress though!
