Personal:

I am originally from Knoxville, TN and moved to SLC with Jake in 2010. I started racing in 2011 and had some great success before a major injury hit me in July 2012. I had athletic pubalgia surgery in May 2013...then again in Sept 2014 and am still trying to get back to my old self. Although running is my true passion, I love doing pretty much anything active outdoors - backcountry skiing, backpacking, biking, etc.

I've been running for the Saucony Team since 2011. I enjoy representing the brand and really do believe they make the best shoes :)

I work as a Quality Engineer for BD Medical in Sandy.

AM - I was walking to my car as Jake stepped out to go for a run...and I just couldn't help it. I dropped my bag and joined him instead, cardigan sweater and all! Felt okay for about two miles, then the hamstring got a little irritated - 4 miles total. Hip is bugging me a little bit more now too, but it was worth it.

Heading to Logan this afternoon. It's going to be COLD tomorrow morning, so all you marathoners make sure you have warm clothes (hat, gloves, down jacket, etc) for the wait before the race!!!

I was thinking more of a cutoff/deep vee warmup outfit.

Nice to see you getting some running back in. The cardigan was a great touch :). Hope you continue to feel better.

Enjoy cheering all of the runners in tomorrow. Good thing the finish line will not be as cold for you!

Glad to see some running, that is a plus! And I, too, hope the pain exits out your feet soon.

I totally believe in KT tape. It has helped with my achilles and foot, but I have not used it for anything else. I hope it gives you some relief.
