Long Beach Half is one week from today, so this week is all about tapering. Besides having some time at the beach in CA, there is a Safeway within 2 blocks of the hotel and they have the BEST Moose Tracks ice cream (with only 120 calories per serving, tough to beat that). It's going to be an awesome celebration after the race! PM - 30 min bike ride up to REI so I could get my favorite smoothie Powerbars. I have felt so tired today. Most of the day consisted of laying around and dozing off to sleep. I did manage to get my mandatory 15 minutes of abs/arms for the weekend.
