Running Accomplishments:

I was a much better runner in my 20's and 30's.  When I was 52 I had a 28.5 5K and a 58.5 10K, and I would like to surpass those times.

Long-Term Running Goals:

Run a 1/2 marathon.  I would actually love to run a full marathon, but am not sure if my body would break down with injuries training for one.  Update fall 2010: still no 1/2 marathon, but I did run all the way up city creek and back home (14 miles)  - absolutely gorgeous!!

Personal:

My name is Adele Kimbrough - I'm 58 and have been running (off and on) since I was 16.  My body is not well designed for speed, and I'm a bit arthritic, but I'm having fun trying to figure out just how fast I can be.  And this blog helps!

2011 Deseret News 10K Finish Line.
Dang - missed my goal by 4 seconds!

Nordic Track E2500 treadmill, works well!  Features include 0-12 mph, inclines from 0-10%, foldable for moving/transport, side lever to adjust stiffness of running surface, etc.  It works great when it is too hot or too icy outside, and it is absolutely awesome for speed training and hill strengthening.

I am the original owner and it has always been in a dry environment.  It is a standard sized treadmill, and I probably averaged 25-30 miles per week on it when I was using it regularly.

$200 obo,  I would probably drop the price to *free* for a dedicated fast running blog member as a way of giving back to the frb community I benefited so much from a few years back.  I'm selling because I need the room and also because I have two dogs now and feel guilty using it instead of taking them hiking on the trails above my house.

Can't figure out how to upload photos, but can send you photos via text or email.  Also, I'm in the Avenues part of Salt Lake City.  Thanks!
