Today was our annual slurpee run. We met at Sunnyside park and got our slips of paper with all the addresses of the 7/11s we were going to go to. The first one was on 2nd south and 13th east, so I ran there with Patrick, Sarah, Fat Sam, Sam, Jesse, Annie, and others. I got a wild cherry and it tasted alright, and when we got running again I didn't really feel it. The next one was on 7th east and 3rd avenue, and Patrick and I really wanted to run by Rachel's house. Patrick, Sarah, and I gapped from the group and got ahead a bit, but as we were chugging our slurpees they caught up and they can chug faster so yeah. That one was banana flavored, it went down easy, but as we ran to the one on 3rd east and 1st south, it made my tummy hurt really bad. At the 3rd east and 1st south one, I got a watermelon lime, which went down easy and didn't make me feel too sick. The next one was on 3rd east and 4th south, and at that one I got the alienade blue powerade one, which was really sour, didn't go down easy, but made my tummy feel tons better. The next one was on... 2nd east and 8th south I think, and I got pina colada, and that kindof made me feel sick, but not really. The next one was on 8th south and West Temple, right by Taffy Town, or as Patrick says, the drug factory. I got a blue raspberry and it was not fun trying to down that one, because I went over the rim like, 2 inches. The last one was on 5th east and 13th south, right by Liberty Park. The only flavor they had there that I hadn't tried yet was Coca-Cola, so I went with it and it tasted NASTY! The funny thing about that 7/11 was that was where my Garmin read 7.11 miles...Hehe. We ran up 13th south to the crosswalk at the southern park entrance and Fat Sam and I raced each other to the drinking fountain, it was fun. I sat down for a minute, then I went and ran a lap with Natalie, Amanda, Sarah, Bill, Tomy, and others. I was at 8.82, and after a long drink we ran back up to Sunnyside. 11 miles, good job everyone!!
