Prize money: $200-$150-$100, both open and masters.
Please register early, ideally by July 10th. This will help the race directors know how many shirts they need to order.
Just like Magna 5 K and Heart of Holladay 5 K this race in on the USATF racing circuit. Which means the course length can be trusted, and you will see good competition. I encourage every blogger to run that race. Even if you are not racing for the win, racing a large number of top runners in Utah on a trusted course will give you a reliable estimate of your 5 K fitness. I will be able to look at your blog and give you better ideas of how you can train based on your 5 K performance in this race vs. some "Dog Days" uncertified course that no consistent runner shows up to.
I plan to run that race, afterwards I will be happy to visit with you about your training during the cool down or refreshments.
