I have a friend who asked me about her shoes.  She just bought some Ryka's from Ross.  I told her they were off-brand (I hadn't heard of them) but I just saw them in an outdoors catalog.  Does anyone have experience with these shoes and if they have sufficient quality to get 500 miles out of them?

When I was into kick-boxing and aerobics (pre-running ;-) ) I had a lot of friends who swore by Ryka shoes.  I don't know much about their running shoes, but the other shoes were of really high quality.

Ryka markets exclusively to women.  They claim that "everything we create is designed by women."
