Multiple Comment Posting

I know many people are confused when they look at their comments and see many comments that are identical.  The way I understand it this happens when someone posts a comment and then uses the back button on their browser, the comment is re-posted.  It would be great if you did a quick data check when someone posts a comment to check if a previous comment in that thread already has the same data, and not post the second one.  This would eliminate the multiple posting and eliminate that annoying "bug".
