What time do you get up to run?

Just curious.....what time do you get up to run?
I usually get up between 4:30-5:00am (sometimes 4:00am if I have a longer run) and I go to bed around 9-9:30pm. But I usually feel like a zombie during the day. Not fun!!! Hubby has to leave for work by 6:30am so I need to be back home!
Please tell me there are other early risers out there too!!!!!

When I lived in Utah, I had to get up for work at 5 am, but got up 4:10 or so many weekdays for pre-work runs. And that was after 11pm bedtime (or later) most nights. Jeff Shadley is a very regular early morning riser- I think 4:30-ish is normal for him.
So yes, you're not alone.

I am usually out the door in the morning at 4:30am for my runs, so my alarm is going off at 4am. I do this in order to get to work on time (and have time to get things ready in the morning, both for me and my kids for school). Right now my son is getting up at 5:15 to get to XC practice before 6am...he is 13 years old!
I am usually getting to sleep by 10-10:30pm...so I average around 6 hours of sleep.
You are not alone...mornings are a great time to run especially in the summer. It is also a great way to get in two-a-days and make these early runs recovery time.

Normally about 4:30-5:00 a.m. At times as early as 1:30 a.m. for long runs.

I am up between 4:20-4:30 so that I can be either outside or at the gym by 5:00am. I do this so that I can get to work no later than 7:30am and get something done before my students arrive. I try to be in bed by 9:30.
