I did not realize we had enough people who would not read their credit card bill (much less consider paying it) to merit a news article about the subject :-) I've lived in the US for over 16 years, but I am still learning something new frequently.

But if so, with that many people so anxious to spend the money they did not have, and then not pay back, the financial crisis is probably here to stay for a lot longer than we anticipate.
