If someone could record at least the TV broadcast, I would greatly appreciate it! And if someone can figure out how to record the web broadcast, I would love to have that as well!

There will also be a highlight show on NBC at 2PM EST.

For those interested in tracking the runners' 5K splits by e-mail visit the site http://alertsignup.nyrr.org/Alerts.aspx to register and set up your 5 athletes (per e-mail).

I had been to the site earlier today and it mentioned the button to watch the telecast would be active 10 minutes before prior to the event.  This evening I went back to bookmark the page so it would be easier to get to in the morning.  But the button was active.  I had to allow a file to be run for the video to show correctly in Windows Media Player.  It also showed a course map that you could zoom in on at the bottom of the screen.  When looking at the map the video screen shrunk.  I could not figure out how to make it large again.  So I hit F11 on my keyboard and it allowed the scroll bars to show on the right side of the browser.  Then I could see all.

This may have been unique to my computer, but I figured I would share these tips with others who may experience the same problems.  Especially to all of you out West who will be getting out of bed very early to catch the telecast.

I hope someone recorded it and will share with the rest of us. We could start a mailing chain if it is a DVD or something.

This is Paul not Logan. Supposedly they are going to "on-demand" viewing of the race online. Originally, it was only going to be live, but apparently they wised up and changed their minds.

FYI, on-demand viewing of the race in its entirety (commercial-free) is here:
