I have ran a 5k race this sunday. I won in 14:40:30
Weather was cold. 10 celcius or 50 Fahrenheit.
The track was wet, it had rained 17mm the night before.
There was a little drizzle during the race, but not really raining.
The wind was about 10 knots or 3 to 4 beaufort.
Splits were
70 - 73 - 73 - 70 - 70 - 71 - 72 - 70 - 70 - 74 - 74 - 64 - 29
Last was for the 200 meter stretch at the end.
How fast could i run under perfect conditions, please let me know.

The way you closed that last 600m shows (to me) that you had something left in the tank. How did the race play out - were you setting the pace or following? I would think that running sub 14:30 (sooner rather than later) is in the cards for you.

In the beginning I was just running in the pack, but when i felt the slowed.
0-200 meters Getting a good spot ( pushing and i got a kick from some one his spike ) It was bleeding during the race, but nothing worse )
200 - 1100 Running in the pack ( laps 70 )
1100 - 2300 I took the lead to quicken the pace
2300 - 3000 Running in second and third position ( laps 70 )
3000 - 3600 Took over the lead ( hoping to drop a lot of people )
3600 - 4600 Back in the pack to save energy for the last kick
4600 - 5000 Finale kick to the finish.

Sounds like you ran a really smart race - kept the pace fast enough to make it an honest effort, but conserved energy at the right stretch and timed your kicked really well.

You're on a roll - just keep running with confidence and working hard and the times will continue to drop.

Hard to tell. I would venture an intuitive guess of 14:10, but there are too many unknown variables. Assuming they cancel each other out, 14:10 I think is a good estimate.

The fact that you are able to speed up to 64, and then even more to 29 suggests to me that you have the 13:30 ability (at least) that has not yet been fully refined. The fact that you would not get disgusted with 73s and just take off suggests that you might have recently experienced a gain in fitness, but have not yet developed the new sense of pace that is appropriate for this level of fitness.

I'd suggest this. Find a race where you have a thick pack in the 13:30-14:00 range, tuck yourself into the tail end of it and hang on for dear life. You might get a pleasant sub-14:00 surprise. If you don't, knowing exactly where you fall off the pace at around 14:00 effort will provide a wealth of data that will allow you to adjust your training in the future.
